Artist Bio
Eleanor Evans is a multi-disciplinary Illustrator, Graphic Designer, and Certified Teacher of Art. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Illustration from The University of the Arts, Philadelphia, PA, and is a passionate advocate for the Arts, Autism Support, and Special Education. In addition to working with traditional mediums, including clay, pottery wheel, gouache, acrylics, ink, and pencils, Eleanor utilizes the digital design platform and has been an avid user of Adobe Photoshop and Apparel/Textile CAD software since the early 1990s.
During her career that spans over three decades with commissions in fine arts, illustration, multimedia, graphic design, art education, and e-learning, Eleanor designed multiple art curricula, combined with modern education technology, to instruct students of all ages, and has conceived public and private projects, art instruction, and exhibitions with prestigious academic institutions, cultural organizations and major companies including The University of the Arts, The University of Pennsylvania, Bryn Mawr College, Lawrence Township Public Schools, Hopewell Valley Regional School District, The Lawrenceville School, George School, Newtown Friends School, Villa Victoria Academy, The Morven Museum and Garden, Philadelphia Sketch Club, Charming Shoppes Inc., Kellwood Co., Leslie Fay Co., Springs Industries Inc., The Gap Inc., Liz Claiborne Inc., Matthew Bender & Co., Times Mirror Co., among others.
